Champion Crowned: Charlie Heyman Takes MX2 Title at Drumclog Finale

The sixth and final round of the 2025 Scottish Motocross Championship took place at what can be considered one of the most well loved circuits in the UK, Drumclog Moto Parc. Racing took place over two days September 6th & 7th.

Our Plews supported rider, Charlie Heyman was crowned the Pro MX2 Champion after the final round of the 2025 Scottish MX champs. He claiming two class victories coming in P1 in both races as well as the overall on the day. Charlie missed the first round of the Scottish Championship which resulted in tight competition coming into the final round. He had some solid racing and got the job done to walk away MX2 Champion.

Ryan Waggot had a very busy weekend of racing in Drumclog. On the Saturday he took part in the 2 stroke race coming 1st over all in race 1, in race 2 he was 1st in class and 2nd overall and the same with race 3 coming 1st in class and 2nd overall. Ryan finished the day by taking the class win. Moving to Racing on Sunday Ryan raced in the MX2 class on his 125 combined with MX1. He had a solid qualifying coming in P5 which was a great start to the day. In race 1 he came in 3rd in class and in race 2 coming in 4th in class. He may have had a bad start but this was his first MX2 podium coming in 3rd and a solid race weekend to end off the Scottish Championship.
